Dedication and Service
Mr. and Mrs. Manuel Martins, along with their two daughters, Antoinette and Dominga Martins, have ventured to develop a non-profit organization called Martins&Giving in 2016 with a mission to give and not expect to receive. Mr. and Mrs.Martins and family have always shared a philosophy of always helping others when you can. The vision of the Martins&Giving non-profit organization is to help the homeless and less fortunate population to have their basic needs met. Through providing self-care packages, it helps the person with getting their basic needs met. It also helps in making the reasons of importance to invent necessities and getting into various ideas to give generously our purpose!
OUR VISION
Anything Is Possible
During the year, we all want to be helpful to others providing love, care and support to people (immediate and extended family members,friends, associates and acquaintances, as well as neighbors) we have made along the way. During time of giving, the vision of the Martins&Giving non-profit organization was founded to help the homeless and less fortunate population to have their basic needs met. We remember strangers we met at the coffee shop who sat on the stoops of local businesses, during the summer months, asking people to provide them with refreshing beverages to cool themselves down.We recognize the homeless individuals pacing up and down the sidewalks looking for loose change. We sit in public restaurants looking out windows, and we observe homeless individuals with no shoes. The purpose of Martins&Giving, Inc is not to donate food or clothes, but to donate personal hygiene items to homeless individuals to help them maintain their dignity.
